I am focused on high-pressure synthesis, ambient- and high-pressure physical properties, structure-property relationships, and structure and electronic states under external stimuli for new quantum (functional) materials with strongly electronic correlation, especially for multiferroic materials, high-temperature half metals and ferromagnetic insulators and semiconductors. I published more than 110 peer-reviewed papers including in Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., J. Am. Chem. Soc. , Adv. Mater. and Nano Lett. etc. 17 papers are selected as JACS cover, Adv. Mater. inside cover, PRL Editors' Suggestion, Inorg. Chem. and Chin. Phys. B covers.
