I am focused on high-pressure synthesis, ambient- and high-pressure physical properties, structure-property relationships, and structure and electronic states under external stimuli for new quantum (functional) materials with strongly electronic correlation, especially for multiferroic materials, high-temperature half metals and ferromagnetic insulators and semiconductors. I published more than 160 peer-reviewed papers including in Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., J. Am. Chem. Soc. and Adv. Mater. etc. Near 30 papers were slected as JACS cover, Adv. Mater. inside cover, PRL Editors' Suggestion, Inorg. Chem. cover, etc.
